New Media 3D Art Design About

Anna Ren

NYU Tisch,
BFA in Interactive Media Arts

01 Introduction

Anna Ren is a Brooklyn-based new media artist and designer.
Ren's art features bold colors and dynamic visuals, primarily in the form of 3D imagery integrated into animations, installations, and real-time experiences. Her background in design deeply informs her artistic creations, blending aesthetic sensibilities with interactive and immersive storytelling. She is also interested in exploring varied forms, such as web-based projects, playful experiences, and performances. In both her art and design practice, she draws inspiration from new media to push creative boundaries, experimenting with emerging technologies to craft compelling visual narratives.
Ren’s work delves into the complex relationships between humans, technology, and nature, often exploring human identity through her personal experiences as an alien in foreign lands, examining themes of belonging and displacement.
