01 Introduction

Anna Ren is a Brooklyn-based new media artist and creative technologist working across CG imagery, installation, interactive media, and performance. Through immersive and poetic visual languages, she crafts intricate worlds that explore the complex interplay between body, memory, and space. Her practice often weaves the digital and the physical, using creative technology as a lens to examine intimacy, displacement, and transformation.
Ren holds a BFA in Interactive Media Arts from New York University Tisch School of the Arts, where she developed a multidisciplinary approach that bridges virtual worldbuilding, animation, and speculative storytelling. Her works invite audiences to inhabit dreamlike environments where emotion, technology, and identity overlap, spaces that question what it means to be seen, remembered, or connected.
Her work has been featured internationally, including at Ars Electronica Festival, ISEA (International Symposium on Electronic/Emerging Art), ACM TEI, CAA, THE BLANC, Denver Digerati, and more.
